Does my request automatically confirm a booking?
No. You receive an acknowledgement of receipt, then our team gets back to you to confirm availability before any booking is made.
What is the difference between M’Hamid Guide and the Joudour Sahara Association?
M’Hamid Guide (Guide Zagora) runs the tourism offer: accommodation, bivouacs, catering, group hosting, stays and tours in the oasis and the desert. The Joudour Sahara Association separately carries out its educational and cultural activities: artistic residencies, youth work, training, heritage transmission, environmental projects.
Does my journey contribute to the local community?
Yes. As part of the commercial operation of the Joudour Sahara Cultural Centre, Guide Zagora pays the Joudour Sahara Association 15% of the turnover, excluding tax, generated by this operation.
Who is Halim Sbai?
Halim Sbai has been a nature guide and tour designer in M’Hamid for more than 25 years. He is the founder of the Zamane Festival, director of Joudour Sahara (a Playing For Change partner) and a member of the Drâa-Tafilalet Regional Tourism Council.
