Jam sessions and festival life
On 5 and 6 December, from 11:00 pm, jam sessions under the stars in the Cultural Centre's dunes, for festival pass holders and guests. Throughout the festival: exhibitions, crafts, a producers' market, residencies, encounters and transmission.
Climate Encounters
The festival is also a space for ecological reflection: workshops and debates on ecology and the preservation of desert ecosystems, linked to the desertification and water-management issues specific to the Drâa Valley.
Residencies & creations
Nour Joudour brings together artists from Morocco, Algeria and France around the exchanges between the Maghreb, the Sahara and the Mediterranean. A Playing For Change / Zamane residency is being developed around Julian Belbachir. Feelin's 9 works with Amazigh women singers around voice, memory and contemporary creation.
Sahara × Mediterranean
Zamane 2026 strengthens exchanges between the two shores, notably with a delegation linked to Trasimeno Blues in Italy, around the circulation of artists, residencies, audiences and know-how.
Inauguration of the Joudour Sahara Cultural Centre
The opening of Zamane 2026 will mark the official inauguration of the Centre. Its auditorium will host concerts and creations in a more intimate setting.
Zamane, more than a festival
The project is part of work carried out all year round with young musicians, artists, tradition holders and communities. Music becomes a tool for transmission, education, encounter, local development and dialogue between cultures.
Proximity
Live to the rhythm of the desert and the festival, just a short walk between the bivouac and the stages.
Atmosphere
Enjoy evenings around the fire, dinners under the stars and sunrise over the dunes.
Authenticity
A stay between nomad comfort and cultural immersion.
Extend the experience
Combine the concerts with a stay at the Cultural Centre, a night in a bivouac, a visit to the oasis, a trip to Chegaga or a musical tour. Accommodation and travel programme on request.
